Official !! Here’s When & Where to Watch the 2025 Miss Universe Pageant in the U.S.

    MISS UNIVERSE 2025

THE PAGEANT THE WORLD WILL WATCH — AND YOU WON’T HAVE TO SET AN ALARM FOR

When a global event takes place in Thailand, Americans often ask the same question: What impossible hour will it air?

This year, the answer is simple.
    Refreshingly simple.

Below is everything you need to know about when Miss Universe 2025 will air, where to watch it, and why this year’s competition has already made headlines.
THE WHEN: NO TIME-ZONE GYMNASTICS REQUIRED

Although the coronation happens at 8:00 a.m. on Nov. 21 in Thailand, viewers in the United States can watch it at a civilized hour:

    Thursday, Nov. 20
    8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT / 5 p.m. PT

Telemundo and Pea**** will carry the live telecast.
Telemundo’s preliminary coverage begins an hour earlier.

Different continents. One comfortable primetime slot.
THE WHERE: A STAGE BUILT FOR SPECTACLE

This year’s competition will take place at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi—a venue engineered for scale, ceremony, and the kind of lighting that makes a crown shine brighter.

Your hosts for the night: Carlos Adyan, Danilo Carrera, Jessica Carrillo, and Jacqueline Bracamontes—a quartet seasoned in spectacle.
THE PRELIMINARIES & COSTUME SHOW: THE WARM-UP ACTS WORTH WATCHING

If you’re the kind who likes to judge before the judges do, mark your calendar:

    Wednesday, Nov. 19 — 1 p.m. Thailand time
    (1 a.m. ET / 10 p.m. PT on Nov. 18 in the U.S.)

You’ll find the Preliminaries and National Costume Competition streaming on:
    • The Telemundo App
    • @telemundoentretenimiento on YouTube
    • Telemundo Al Día FAST channels

Consider it your early look at who might triumph—or surprise—on finals night.
THE CONTROVERSY: WHEN A PAGEANT BECOMES A PROTEST

This year, Miss Universe found itself at the center of a storm.

During a pre-competition event livestreamed on the Miss Universe Thailand Facebook page, Miss Mexico Fátima Bosch was insulted—called “dumb” by pageant executive Nawat Itsaragrisil. The remark triggered an extraordinary response: Bosch, several contestants, and the reigning Miss Universe stood up, and walked out.

    Within hours, Itsaragrisil was removed.
The Miss Universe Organization issued a statement reaffirming its commitment to fairness, dignity, and its partnerships—proof that the competition’s values extend beyond the runway.
THE COMPETITION: 120 WOMEN, ONE CROWN, AND A HISTORIC FIRST

This year will welcome 120 contestants from across the world—including the first-ever Miss Universe Latina—all vying to succeed Denmark’s Victoria Kjær Theilvig.

    The stage is global.
    The stakes are enormous.
    The crown is waiting.

If you’d like, I can rewrite this with a punchier headline, a more dramatic tone, or an even more classic Ogilvy cadence.
