Its the carnela/reynoso camp supplying fighters. End of story. How many fighters in their camp have got caught with steroids including carnela? Not rocket science.

Not overturing the result after a fighter was tested positive is mad work. That's the bare minimum.

In my opinion they should ban everyfighter that fails a test for 2 years and these fighters if they want to continue need to be put in a life/career long all year around doping program which should be fully or partially be paid by them. This program should have at least 12 random tests a year, additionally to the usual doping tests when fighters have scheduled fights.

So it would make sense to have these extra 12 random tests while no fight is scheduled outside of their fight camps to ensure they not juicing in between fight camps and cycling it out.

Second failed test 5 year ban which should be a career ending ban considering this guy already was banned for 2 years.

And as extra addition if you don't provide a hair sample after the first failed test you should be banned for life no matter what since it is clear this guy was knowingly cheating and tries to hide it.

" the WBC said of the “energy booster” that “Mr. Rodriguez ingestion of a banned substance(s) was accidental, unintentional, unknowing, and not directed to enhance his performance.”

For fuggin' real? Why would anyone take an energy booster, irrespective of ingredients, before a fight if not with the intention of boosting performance?!

You'd think you couldn't make this bs up but obviously you can!

"It would be very easy to portray the WBC as the police and to look at us as the good cop while committing injustices if we were not to conduct full investigations"

"However, Dr Daniel Eichner, president of Sports Medicine Research and Testing Laboratory [SMRTL], is a world-renowned anti-doping scientist and head of the most well-respected anti-doping lab – World Anti-Doping (WADA) accredited – and he was not consulted by the WBC, the BBBoC or UKAD about Munguia’s failed test.

Had he been, observed one drug-testing expert, then Munguia’s team may not have got the result they wanted. Eichner’s assessment of it all was: “The positive test for this sample was based on the measurement of metabolites of testosterone-related steroids, which are unrelated to pregnenolone"

The above statements from the actual expert are absolutely incredible, he basically saying the mungi being let off is a scam lol, the guy was caught red handed, just like bumgardner with steroids with no explanations and let off completely

“Exposure to pregnenolone does not affect these targets. Use of pregnenolone alone does not result in a positive IRMS test.”

The expert is saying that mungi was caught red handed with steroids in his system & not the less serious substance pregnenolone as reported

                  LOL

"Though Surace-Munguia II was contested in Saudi Arabia, the show was overseen by the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBoC). The Board works hand-in-hand with UK Anti-Doping (UKAD), but they were not involved with testing because the event featured only international fighters in a foreign territory. Consequently, it was VADA who tested the boxers"

so we have vada doing tests overseen by the BBBoC

wtf are these people doing incahoots with the wbc allowing this sort of stuff to happen, can nobody stand up to anything in this sport and actually do the right thing, ban cheaters in this sport!!!!!

the whole thing needs a total over haul with multi agency country rules that are mandatory, u get busted u get banned
