What a farce. So this fight has been ordered but deferred, then we have Wardley defending an 'interim' belt which was only created because of the Pulev - Hunter / Wardley - Miller elimination series which never happened. There is apparently no plan for how any of this leads to a fight with the real champion Usyk.
When BS writers publish these pieces do they ever reach out to Mendoza to see how he can justify these conflicting positions and 'resolutions'? If Zuffa manage to destroy the WBA it will be worthwhile for that reason alone.
Ok, apparently my reading comprehension isn't what it used to be. What is this article even saying? Is Itauma facing Pulev in February? Is Pulev still taking a voluntary against Gassiev in December, against the WBA's wishes? I feel like I've read this article twice, and I still don't understand who is fighting who.
I like to be fair and kind. But every time I hear Moses Itauma's name, I think quack quack quack...Since many people are having wet dreams about him, maybe I'm missing something. His sole big opponent was Dillian Whyte, who trained in Burger King. Apparently to some, that made Moses the new Earnie Shavers.
Who gives a damn about the WBA “Regular” trinket? Itauma shouldn’t be wasting time with that circus and their clowns. Fight in December AND February regardless, dude needs as much experience as possible before he gets relegated to fighting 2x/year.
Moses (and boxing) needs to fark off from fighting in Saudi for a while and fight in the States to build his profile. He could be huge for the sport if pushed right. AJ took way too long to get over there.

If America had any decent HWs I'm sure that would be under consideration - there is onlt Anderson, wherever he's hiding, and Torrez Jr who needs more step up fights himself - in fact he should be targeting Miller. At this point, best to consider Andy Ruiz and Wilder as retired.
