Some things need to be seen to be believed - a 10-round exhibition bout between Jake Paul and Gervonta Davis is one of them.

Eddie Hearn was so right for calling out Jake for never becoming a champion...

Jake Paul is the Face of Boxing. Gervonta Davis is a P4P talent. Smaller men have advantages too. Much more speed and agility, as we saw in Crawford vs Canelo. Davis wins this fight by KO and is declared the Goat. Jake Paul bounces back by beating Canelo and Usyk. Nash out - His Majesty

Jake Paul isn't a real professional fighter and this isn't a real professional prize fight. None of his fights to date have been. Let's get that out of the way.

That being said, I don't get the hate on these types of exhibitions. All the fighters back in the day did them. Ali once fought Dave Semenko, a hockey enforcer. Foreman once fought 4 guys in one night. That's just the tip of the iceberg on this stuff. Exhibitions have always been a part of the boxing world. They're a way for fighters to earn more money without taking a physical pounding of a true prize fight. Everyone always worries about ex-champs or high-level fighters that have gone broke. Maybe if they had done these kinds of exhibitions they wouldn't have gone broke.

Given all that, I see no reason to hate on the fight. I won't watch it, because it's not a real competition, and that's what I enjoy. But if Tank can earn a bunch of money for himself without taking serious punishment, good for him.

The only clown I see in this situation is the WBA, who has Paul ranked at #14 on its cruiserweight rankings, even though he hasn't actually had a professional prize fight.

              It's a pointless, stupid fuckin' fight, X10.

These guys are going to make 40-50 million for this fight. No boxer on the planet would turn this down!

This would be a worthy candidate for that rarest of events: the simultaneous double KO. Both fighters lose, and the fans win.

And yet, the implication here is that you read it. Perhaps somebody on the team assigned the task of writing this article to him. Nonetheless, YOU ARE RIGHT in that there is FAR MORE better in boxing that could be written about.
