With this loss, there’s no hiding it anymore: Canelo is the greatest from Mexico. No excuses—he gave full credit to his opponent, something Chávez never did. Here’s my list now:
We just witnessed a generational great in his last fight, and it’s being treated as a side note. Help me here, is it because he's black or because he beat an all time great or because he's Terrance Crawford? Mark my words, the Paul vs Tank cartoon will be given head lines and THAT..... is what journalists will push and ....THAT is the problem in the sport of boxing personified.
An all-time great, one of the best in history, Crawford.
Canelo is a great fighter, at least to some degree, and is still world class, although past his prime.
Crawford knew that Canelo's footwork is quite slow and in the past few fights only throws a punch or two at a time.
Yes indeed, this was on netflix, and a rare production of rel quality that you don't usually see on netflix. A reality show if you will, of the sweet science.
