Madrimov was a huge unknown and there was no way for Crawford to prepare for him.
There is so much tape out on Canelo. His vulnerabilities (slow feet, fights in spurts, gasses late, etc) are well known. There is no way a boxing genius like Crawford won’t exploit these things.
Crawford is also the best finisher Canelo has fought since GGG, but Crawford is faster and more skilled than GGG.
Mentally, Canelo has lost before while Crawford has not.
The more I think about this fight, the more I think Crawford is going to be the first man to stop Canelo, in absolutely vicious fashion. As crazy as it sounds.
