Comments Thread For: ?Listen to your coach?: Honoring the wisdom of Naazim Richardson

Five years ago today, Naazim Richardson died after a long illness. He was a coach whom a lot of fighters would have benefited from listening to for many more years.

The guy that ran off with the wraps and framed margarito. Not the first time this crook did some shady moves.

So you’re saying Margacheato was innocent. Even though we all watched how it played out and Maracheato got banned.

        Incredible stuff here!

Naazim Richardson and B-hop were a perfect pair. Hopkins had no problem with firing Bouie who was like a father to him and was with him since day one, once it came time for Bouie to make some real money with Hopkins finally, so he found a Judas in Naazim who rather then telling Hopkins it was immoral and just plain wrong to turn his back on his trainer, he just moved right in and never looked back, birds of a feather flock together….

This is a very interesting comment. I'd like to get a little more of your perspective on this if you don't mind. Why was Naazim Richardson seen as a "Judas" in your eyes?
