Comments Thread For: Manny Pacquiao, the heartbeat of Filipino boxing, gets pulses racing again

Although the jury is still out on how the boxing public feels about Manny Pacquiao?s return to the ring, there is no ambiguity about how the Philippines has received the news.

So many "articles" regarding zombie Pacquiao, but not even a word if there's any in camp VADA testing in place for this.
Why? Is it because you already know the answer?

I hope he wins. He has been rather silly and dishonest about a couple of things he said about Floyd and Marquez.

He said Juan was lucky in fourth fight, that's ridiculous. He said Floyd lost, well, guess you can argue wasn't the most exciting fight and clearest win.

That said, Manny didn't do enough, and his team, unbelievably, did not sign a medical form correctly to get an injection before the fight.

Anyway, if there's any welterweight champion for Pacquiao to possibly beat, even at 46, it's Barrios, with respect.

Nope, no pulses racing just another stab in the heart of boxing parading a shot old man risking his health to milk casuals.

Nobody cares about this circus of a fight. You can hype it all you want, but the only way Pacquiao’s washed-up self is winning is if Barrios agrees to flop like a fish for his paycheck.

            dumb!!! the internet is free!!

And on June 15, WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman made an Instagram post that discussed Pacquiao's recent drug test results.

"Just received notification from @vada_testing with negative for mannypacquiao #cleanboxingprogram has been very busy lately with many tests all over the world," Sulaiman's post wrote.

In other words, Pacquiao's drug test came up clean.

Recently, WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman publicly announced that the Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency (VADA) had notified him that Manny Pacquiao's drug test results were negative for his upcoming match against WBC
Champion Mario Barrios, scheduled for July 19th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

I haven’t been following this freak show at all. This is my first post about it. Boxing ain’t what it used to be, man. These BS shows have become the norm. The sport needs a new face, someone to truly capture the popular imagination. We. Are. Due.
