Finding flaws in Ricardo Lopez definitely requires nitpicking but here goes - his lead left hook was way better thrown at long range. In fact most of his best shots came when there was some length applied to them. That seemed to be the Nacho Beristain style. I feel It’s why Rosendo Alvarez’ strong, short and compact punching gave Lopez so much trouble.

Best fighter ever in the 105-108lbs range. Had Lopez attempted 112lb, I couldn’t see him handling fellow ‘90’s great Mark Johnson.

I like Bread’s idea of monitoring a fighter’s hydration, blood counts, and mineral counts leading up to a weigh in. That would give a better picture of overall health than just hitting certain weight thresholds.

I don't think Benavidez would make it past 5 rounds if he fought Opetaia. Jai took Breidis' power well, even after receiving a broken jaw. And he's an explosive, wrecking ball of a cruiserweight.
