An additional ppv charge wasn’t included in the article because there’s still moving parts to finalize. Of course there’s going to be a price tag for this event. Which I wouldn’t mind. I’ll re-sub but I’m still holding out hope that it’ll be made available to all subscribers at no additional fee. After all it’s Netflix and more importantly, Money-grubbling Eddie won’t have his greasy fingers all over this.
I’ll add that if big boxing events were available to the general viewers, We(US) would get more Olympic gold. Kids aren’t growing up watching boxing anymore.

Pirate here. I'm watching less boxing now than I can ever remember. Boxing used to be a weekly thing for me. "What good fights are on this weekend?" Now it's "Will there be any good fights this year?" Even for free, I'm not watching. The next fight I'm looking forward to is more than a month away....and it's women's boxing (Taylor Serrano 3). I'm not sure where this sport goes from here.

I still enjoy a good evenly matched fight at lower levels. Comparing things with how they used to be is a losing proposition in that we almost always look back and remember the good but not the bad. I gave up hoping my life would drastically improve, now I enjoy the small things and work on small improvements. Regards fights - Mayweather and his focus on being unbeaten is to blame a lot for not getting the best match-ups as fighters like Tank and Canelo are currently not taking risks and making huge money - and that in turn feeds down to the next generation of fighters
