"I’m moving up to 168 because the competition is better. I’m not overlooking LaManna, but there are other fighters I can face in this division that would solidify my legacy."

Moving to 168 because the competition is better? When did he even try to fight Sheeraz, Janibek, Adames, Lara, or anybody else at 160 in the last few years to make that determination?
As far as his legacy goes, he's got to get extremely active and thread a bunch of needles to change what's pretty much gelled at this point.

If legacy is a 'lasting impression', and is inseparable from memory (as it should be), then Cornflake has cemented a stronger legacy than Jermall in my mind, and here's why:
In five years I probably won't think about or be reminded of Charlo, but I will still remember (and appreciate) Lamanna for his 'Cornflake' moniker. I'm not saying Cornflake was better as a boxer. But I am saying his legacy - for me - will be better.
Sorry, Charlo - you blew it.

Translated: "I'm at 168 scratching around for a Canelo retirement check, just like everyone else."
