I like Andy and I think he has the goods to be a champion. Cannot wait to see him fight one of the names to see how much he has really developed since his amateur days. So far, he looks impressive but hasn't fought anyone who can resist much. Eddie is right - he has to get a mandatory position because nobody will fight him. Way too much risk for little money.

Andy should fight more often. He's too inactive.

I don’t see either Lomachenko or Muratalla fighting Andy Cruz.

It would be nice to see a quick turn around after this instead of waiting to see if Loma returns. The IBF will be in Top Rank's hands regardless. Time's a wastin' for Andy Cruz.

Andy Cruz is also #1 for Shakur Stevenson Title, William Zepeda is the Interim So I guess he could activate That Mandatory and fight the Winner, But Apparently Andy Cruz or more likely his Team want Muratella

Being ranked #1 doesn't mean you can activate a mandatory

Smart move. He needs to get to mandatory to get a title fight, as he is a boogeyman! Gold Medalist from Cuba, no one wants to touch that! IBF will enforce it
