We all know that Jermain Taylor's a good egg who's only to pleased to break out his shine box when he loses a fight. But last night he was so out of it he looked like he couldn't even find his polish and brush.

I actually think he was most able to give Froch a shine tbh... he still looked fairly coherent in that one, and indeed looking to be dipping down to give Carl a shine to be proud of before that ref got in the way.

    But what say YOU?

In the Pavlike fight when he slumped in the corner, I actually thought he was going for his shinebox - turns out he was just KTFO.

It's an easy mistake to make, Laddie.

I see the Froch one is leading handily right now... I wonder if last night's performance affected that?

I thought he may have been getting down to reach for his chitterlings.

Man... I can't believe how close he was to embarrassing Pavlik in their first fight. SO DAMN CLOSE. He should have won that fight.

He should have also beaten Froch... Poor Jermain. I hope he hangs them up. He's lost "it"

Just a quick nap at the end of the Abraham fight to keep up the energy for the rest of the tourney. Nothing wrong there. Even held his hand up while lying down to nap as if to say "Hold it right there fellas, just a quick kip to give us a bit of extra energy to last those 30 seconds at the end of a fight"

Still, had to be the Froch fight. You could see him breaking it out before the ref jumped in.

shoulda woulda coulda is becoming the story of Jermain's post Middleweight career.

he did beat Jeff Lacy though.

next IMO he should retire. probably won't though
