Comments Thread For: Hamzah Sheeraz on Carlos Adames draw: ?If I don?t learn from this, I?m screwed?

Even with his undefeated record still intact, Hamzah Sheeraz felt like anything but a perfect fighter after his last outing ? a disappointing draw against Carlos Adames.

Does Hamzah not realise he's a duck?

It was no draw. Sheeraz lost that fight.

He is lucky. Turki loves him like a brother so he will be pushed and presented with lucrative opportunities and paydays that other fighters of his abilities will not get. he definitely lost the last fight and it was his own fault. He fought scared even though he had significant physical advantages he could have exploited.

He was offered the Janibek fight twice iirc and chose the far more beatable Carlos Adames instead, yet still wound up losing.

That's part of the story, but Janibek's team also seems to be incompetent. They've done a terrible job raising his profile. Janibek himself seems to have zero control over his own career judging by what he puts out on social media.

He's moving up because he's tired of boiling down to 160, so it can't be said he's avoiding Janibek anymore. Hopefully Janibek gets some unification fights soon.
