Comments Thread For: Is Jose Ramirez a trap fight for Devin Haney?

Haney could be excused for taking a softer touch than the formerly unified 140lbs champion Ramirez, providing a potentially dangerous challenge for the first fight since his no-contest against Ryan Garcia.

Devin better not be looking ahead to the Ryan Garcia rematch. He needs to stay focused on the task at hand and take care of business first.

If I had to choose which one of these guys is more affected mentally, I would have to says it’s probably Ramirez. He has looked out of it for the past two or three fights now.

Ramirez in his last fight showed again that he has slow feet and can't position himself to punch. He will pressure with volume and stamina but is not a huge puncher.

Haney should be able to out speed him.

Not a cherrypick fight for a comeback fight. Can't see anyone objecting to this.

Don't forget that Ryan quit like a bytch against Tank so deep down that's who he really is. You on the other hand did not quit against him. You showed intestinal fortitude and that is who you are. These motha fuqqas think because you lost that they are running the game now. Put them back in their place and remind them who has, does and will always run this game my man!!
Ryan's cadaver was fighting Tank. Tank doesn't fight anyone on a leveled ground.

99% chance this fight will look like Haney vs Kambosos. The remaining 1% is Haney's chin...

Ramirez is not Kambosos. Jose takes more risks and is far more active on his offense,
while Kamby is mostly on countering. Completely different styles.

Jose was not a big puncher at 35 and is long in the tooth.

                  So.... no.

Tank got a GIFT DRAW vs 130 pounder. He lost in other words.
