Agreed. Has he not learned their importance? If so, it's definitely worth mentioning. Otherwise, I don't really get what's the "wake up call".

He was flying high, then lost to Fundora due to his own corner's negligence, and lost to Murt due to an avoidably terriible plan (which is what the trainer is for).

To be clear, he mightve lost to Murt anyway, but the way in which he lost was due to a terrible plan.

If this goes sideways for him again, it's gonna be another woulda coulda shoulda, and a cautionary tale to other fighters, not about avoiding risk but about choosing the right people.

Tim is too basic and laks defense. His footwork is stiff. No head movement. Depended to much on power, not enough on speed or skills.

i believe his confidence has been shaken -- and this fight is more pressure on him then Spen Spem has a lot to gain and Tsyz has so many things to lose in this fight. three loses would put Tsyz on a loosing streak that could spin out real fast in his head and in the promoters minds and platforms. Why all this talk about Kazoo ..... that can only cause more of the same in the future fights. Name rec opens doors but it dont win fights. Kazoo was a great fighter i enjoyed his fights and that Era but the Era is gone now so lets stick to the current and the current is a steak going in the wrong direction for the Son of Kazoo ....... Adjustments take time and not just in training it is putting them into action inside the ropes..
i hope for a knock down drag out fight that WLD both fighters leave looking beaten but fans wanting more.

If he understands that he was overconfident, even arrogant going into his last fight, completely dismissing and undefeated knock out artist, and looking too far into the future past Murtazaliev, then it was a wake up call. Unfortunately, that beating was so devastating that it could be the end of Tim as a serious contender. We will find out soon enough.

There are very few fighters that recover from defeats like that. I do think that Tszyu had a smart method to how he fought, which he demonstrated in his wins against Gaucha, Mendoza, and company, including the defeat against the Fundora, which even with the cut was a close decision. I doubt he will have issues with a fighter like Spencer, but the question is does he have it against the top echelon of the division. I don't think he ever did.
