Agree that this is a battle of the cracking chins. Dubois will soon be added to this category, his fight with Hrgovic was a farce of 2 heavyweights showing terrible defensive skills and repeatedly taking huge shots. Dubois' fight with Joyce was similar and completes this triangle of granite chins and lack of boxing skills.

Once cracked they are destined for second class citizenship in the rankings behind those boxers like Usyk, Fury, and to a lesser extent Parker and Kabayel who actually know how to avoid being hit most of the time... even though the one punch upset is always possible in heavyweight boxing.

It is an aging chin, but equally important is his recent loss of conditioning. He was nowhere near the shape of weight of his biggest wins..

Hrgovic vs JJ seems a 70/30 fight. Maybe the British fans in the stadium can make it to 60/40 but it won’t be enough in my opinion

Look for Hrgovic to unload on Joyce. But will Hrg get in shape? He certainly was not in his last fight.

Only one is 31/32 & in his phisical prime. The other is pushing 40 & left his best year's in the amateurs.

He was not comparing, he was contrasting. He was pointing out that while all those fighters had iron chins, the three Hall of Famers (Golovkin and Canelo are going, we all know, agree or disagree) had a ton of other skills and talent in addition to those chins. Obviously, Joyce and Hrgovic do not.

Battle of the chins fight. I say Joyce's has more fissures. Hgrovic a better boxer imo too.
