Comments Thread For: Joshua Buatsi vs Callum Smith: Who wins and why?

When they walk to the ring for their fight at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday evening, despite Callum Smith being the more decorated and proven fighter, unusually it will be Joshua Buatsi?s legacy that will be more under threat

I believe this fight is similar to the aticle and is based on which Smith shows up, we I believe have seen the development of Buatsi and it's maxed out and will never reach potential!

Think it depends on if Buatsi can hurt Smith. If he can't Smith could do him

Should be a good competitive fight but I think Smith, after a long career and hard fights might not have much left - so I think the timing is perfect for Buatsi (the fresher fighter) to win this.

I thought Buatsi would be way ahead of where he is now. I'd like to think he is way better at this point than current Smith, but because of slow development, I really don't know anymore.

I'm hoping this doesn't take on the look of Smith leaning back, waiting to get beat up. Maybe wishful thinking, but I think Smith has just enough to still make it interesting.

if Buatsi gets a good test but wins convincingly, then I'm hoping he can go full throttle with some bigger fights.

Beterbiev softened Smith for everyone after with a pulse to take advantage of... Must win for Buatsi... If not then another Hype Job down the drain...

              Buatsi is horrible
I expect Smith to win just out of experience and ring iq
Buatsi is at most domestic level
              Smith is a notch higher

When I first signed on with DAZN, Buatsi was Matchroom's new darling hype job at LHW.
So then I get to see a few of his fights, and I learned three things very quickly:

                A) Buatsi ain't all that
                B) Eddie Hearnblow will say anything to sell his product
                C) Buatsi ain't all that

                  Same with Benavidez.

Buatsi I agree hasn't looked stellar and is lazy at times,he normally fights to the pace and level of his opposition but that could go higher if the opponant is higher class

Reminds me of Badou Jack a bit

However unlike Jack ,Buatsi up until now has always found a way to win whereas Jack had many draws because of this flaw.
