One of my favorite fighters--didn't come to play or look cool--just KO his opponent.

Big up Christy Martin fr, 'legend' is a somewhat overused word but not in her case.

An icon indeed, top fighter, big puncher.

Had a few clear losses later on, Hopkins, Wright, definitely lost to De La Hoya, and the swansong against Roy.

A great win over Pernell Whitaker, although that was not the best of Sweetpea.

They don't make fighters like this anymore. Did anyone ever hear about Tito not wanting to fight anyone , or negotiations falling through ? Nope. Tito wasn't that type of guy. He got in the ring and did the business. I've never seen a fighter happier during a ringwalk than Tito at MSG , surrounded by his people and going to work. Duran and Tito are probably my all time favorite fighters.
