Comments Thread For: Conor Benn would ?leave millions on the table? fighting Mario Barrios over Chris Eubank Jnr

Eddie Hearn is in the midst of negotiating for Conor Benn?s return to a British ring, and it seems likely the fighter in the opposite corner is one of two ? Mario Barrios or Chris Eubank Jnr

I've never been a fan of the idea of Eubank-Benn. Not while they campaign two divisions apart. Eubank looks a bit past his prime too.

It's the sort of fight you're supposed to take once you've already won a world title or come up short trying.

It feels a bit premature for Benn to take a title shot but if he can get one against Barrios then it's a good opportunity for him.

Desperate Hearn should stop pushing his guy into a fight that's not good for him.

Eddy would pat himself on the back if he can sell this pile of steaming dooky. The junk man of boxing and another copper kettle.

Personally I'd more excited seeing their old boys fight and I don't want to see that ..!

I wonder why Eddy is clinging on to Benn. What is the reason? Benn can't box, his power is gone, drugs and still Eddy will shill for him and leave talent to rot. It makes no sense, unless you think cheap. Benn isn't worth much and anything Eddy can get is profit.
