Oscar wanted higher and Manny wanted lower, 147 was where it landed, Oscar drained himself cant blame Manny for that, but it was a case of guy fighting at his correct ring weight, same as he was with a 129 weigh in, 144 fight night, and a guy that went to 154/60 for years and had not been at 147 for over 12 yrs and killing himself in the process, I blame Oscar it was a st_u_p_i_d thing to do, any of the top guys would have destroyed Oscar that night, it was the worst draining I seen since LaLonde and Chad Dawson.

I remember reading about the lead up and Im pretty sure Manny wanted 144 in the beginning, they fought at 147 but Oscar didn't want that he wanted higher and Manny wasn't budging of 147, Oscar was retiring he already said before doing the Manny fight he was retiring.

I don't blame Manny at all he did what he had to do, but here is a curve ball, take the 154 Oscar who fought Floyd and was 18 lbs heavier than the 145 version Manny fought and I think Oscar would have run him over, Manny had great management they played the game milking match making and popularity to the max, allowed him a green card when there was so much going on.
