Eddie and Teofimo style are very different. Eddie has been successful with Canelo, but not with other boxers. Canelo style is to put pressure, cut the ring, and counter with explosive punches. Less punches, but more power to them, and still gases out.

I must say, I was not aware of his marital problems, but having read a couple of articles now, it all makes sense. When you are going through a divorce everything goes to hell and it does not happen overnight. For most people marital troubles take years to resolve. It explains his inconsistent performances, it explains constant demands for huge, unrealistic purses (he lost half of his money in a divorce), calling out people he has no chance of ever fighting. He is desperate to recover his finances that once looked great and he is behaving erratically.
