So Lerena can pick over a governing body and their rankings? He can't offer anything that the WBC would not approve. Although money buys you into anything. I bet by tomorrow, Paul will be ranked #1 in the division. Most likely nothing of the sort because Paul flat out lied when he said he wanted to be taken seriously as a pro boxer.....The pinhead will look to find another circus act.

I'd love to hear Jake Paul call Bridgerweight a fake division

I mean it's the bridgerweight division and it's very lightly regarded so Paul fighting for that belt would obviously bring attention to it and the WBC are no strangers to liking a dollar or two and Paul would obviously generate the most money fighting for it so that 3-4 percent sanctioning fee would look alot healthier than it would be if he fought anyone else campaigning in the division. Ofc it's BS because Paul shouldn't be anywhere near a world title not even a trinket like the bridgerweight belt but money definitely does talk in this sport, but again I dont see being Paul being serious when he's saying he wants a world title fight, it's all just words being thrown out into the ether to get him clicks and to get his content out there

And to top that, Lerena just wants to win the Paul lottery. Even though only the WBC decides who gets a shot at his title, for the most part since Lerena is no canelo-level decision maker. I was surprised to see there was actually at top 20 Bridgerweight set of rankings.

Ngl, Lerena makes perfect sense . If Jake wants to be recognized as a legit top ranked boxer BW is his best shot. But something tells me he'll keep his washed n old timers fighting campaign. Probably even takes on his british counterpart Ksy or Ksi whatever his name is lol.

Yeah the rankings are pretty woeful. Andrew Tabiti I think is the number one contender and he hasn't done barely anything over the past few years, and guys like Tom schwartz who's just known for getting bashed up by fury is highly ranked there aswell.. like I said paul doesn't deserve any shot at a belt but the WBC could make it happen if they think it can be made and the moneys there. But yeah everyone wants that pay day right now from retired boxers like Bellew & Froch to guys like Beterbiev and Lerena. It's insane but the pay day is aswell

He couldn't beat Tommy Fury, so theres no chance he gets in with Lerena, who nearly stopped Dubois in one round.

Jake Paul isn't silly, he's a smart guy. He knows as well as you and I that he isn't beating a boxer of any decent level.

He says he will fight real boxers, but thats just him selling himself. He tried against Tommy Fury and lost and Tommy isn't exactly a world beater. Behind a the marketing, Jake Paul is self aware and knows his level.

His intentions are big name exhibitions with little risk. KSI is the big fight for him really .
