Comments Thread For: Hugely impressive Oscar Collazo dissects Thammanoon Niyomtrong to unify titles

There's only a few weeks of 2024 remaining but there might not have been a better or more one-sided high-level beating than the intricate and violent surgery performed by Puerto Rican star Oscar Collazo, who has unified the WBO and WBA minimumweight titles.

Collazo is a great talent and super underrated due to the lower weight class. He is a machine!

PR boxing is fine. No need to reach looking for a mega star. Let these guys be. Serrano, Zayas, Matias, Collazo and a few other up and comers are fine with me. Collazo can become the first undisputed fighter from PR which is crazy to think it hasn’t been done before.

I really like the way that Collazo fights , it's hard to believe that he has so few professional fights. I'm looking forward to seeing how his career plays out.

My all time favorite PR fighter was Wilfredo Benitez. If I could magically pick one PR fighter to come back in his prime in a fantasy, it would be him. He had lightning speed at 147. He would box the fk out of any welterweight today.

Second to Benitez would be 130 Hector Camacho. No one and I mean NO ONE on the planet had the speed of a 130 Camacho. He was a human blizzard. He would clean out 130 today with absolute ease. North of 130 was the start of his decline but damn that speed at 130 was phenomenal.
