47 hasn't been a glamor division for years, it's essentially been a mediocre PBC round robin with over hyped fighters for years at this point and likely to be for a couple more which is disappointing.

Boots looks big enough to campaign at 154 even now. Put him in with Murtz and Ortiz. No need to wait. Boots will beat Karen Chookoodozian soon enough. Then let's see some real champions emerge at 154 from the pack of wannabes.

This is my take to. I found the garcia/Thurman/porter era of trading belts in boring fights less than great. Spence/Crawford were the real stars and it took ages for them to get good fights. Pure promotional interference at its finest.

I wanna see barrios vs boots vs stanionis vs brian norman or whoever has the belts. Only 3 divisions are considered the “glamor” divisions anyway. What bout the rest??? Yall lookin for “great” eras?? Nah they took forever to fight each other and froze out Spence as long as they could and just ignored craw for years. They took a lot of bs fights in between boring unification. I was never so bored by unis in my life for a while there tbh

And when I say they, I dont mean the specific fighters...I mean the reason they tanked hbo...Haymon and the nonsense of getting guys 1mil for bs in between fights way too often.

The proof is in the pudding, none of these guys belong in the hall because of this bs, maybe if they made different fights when they could have. The protection was blatant and in house.
