Understanding judge psychology is different from thinking that's how they ought to behave. As should have been apparent from my first post... I've actually talked to boxing judges before. They're often instructed NOT to behave the way you referenced. Does that always stop them? No. There's a lot of corruption and judges sometimes try to stay on the good side of the money man by giving one fighter more benefit of the doubt. Dave Moretti is a good example of that. But that's also the most common cause of controversial decisions. If they would stick to the rules and keep an open mind, we'd likely get better decisions, instead of a constant stream of BS. The fact that you don't understand that distinction demonstrates why YOU are constantly creating meaningless threads. You behave like you're not old enough to be on an adult forum, not that the forum moderators seem to care. There's plenty of grown men who behave like children too so who knows.

You want to learn some respect, come look me up at my gym, assuming you can get onto a US military base... We can do some rounds and you can find out I'm not that old.

Bivol SHOULD be UNDISPUTED. I didn't think it was close at all to be trill.
He is THE best LHW(175) on the planet rn. With that movement He was utilizing, the movement kept BREAKING Beterbievs BASE. Which had him constantly L-Stepping to RESET.
Bivols defense was superb. Watched the fight with the soundoff to NOT be influenced by anythang watched it on the projector in 1080p50 HD on 120 inch screen from the official youtube channel of turki alleshikh. Bivol SHOULD be UNDISPUTED rn

The right man won. Sure, Bivol was moving and slick but he had lesser output. Bivol's face also shows that even if Beterbiev wasn't landing clean, he was doing enough damage. He was also the busier and more aggressive fighter that night and that may have given him some close rounds. Judges are humans, not AI machines tracking exact speed and angles of impact. It is possible to give the impression that you're doing well. Remember, even Ali used to put on combinations towards the last 30 seconds of the round to leave an impression on the judges.

Regarding the judging, I am more inclined towards the 115-113 score in favor of Beterbiev. I see no robbery here and the judge (Pawel Kardyni) who scored it 116-112 might have got just one round wrong/different than his peers. Looking at the scorecard, most of the time all 3 were in agreement.

Round 1: All three judges scored for Bivol
Round 2: All three judges scored for Bivol
Round 3: All three judges scored for Beterbiev

Round 4: Two judges scored for Bivol but Pawel scored for Beterbiev. This is the round he got wrong, in my opinion.
Round 5: All three judges scored for Beterbiev
Round 6: All three judges scored for Beterbiev

Round 7: Two of the judges scored for Beterbiev and one for Bivol. I also give it to Beterbiev.
Round 8: All three judges scored for Bivol
Round 9: All three judges scored for Bivol

Round 10: All three judges scored for Beterbiev
Round 11: All three judges scored for Beterbiev
Round 12: All three judges scored for Beterbiev

So, Bivol was leading until round 9 on two judge's scorecards. It is the last 3 rounds that changed the fight and understandably why people are crying "robbery" because if you're not scoring it, you already have an impression that Bivol is winning and your brain is not accepting that Beterbiev changed that in the last 3 rounds. We also see that except for rounds 4 and 7, all judges were in agreement. I give round 4 to Bivol and round 7 to Beterbiev.

    My scoring (115-113) :
    Beterbiev: 3,5,6,7,10,11,12
    Bivol: 1,2,4,8,9
very interesting I will rewatch specific rounds now that I know how the judges scored each

Really good fight I thought, that was 2 excellent fighters in there.

I thought Bivol just nicked it, could see a draw also. Hopefully they do it again.
