This doesn't sound like a guy who believes that he is going to win this fight. Not a good look to be calling himself a fan of the guy he's about to fight.
For being the so called Face of Boxing he can't get people to fight him.

Yeah, Davis is a different type of 'face of boxing' where every top guy to him is David Benavidez, who most people say he'll beat Canelo. In Wahid's case people say he'll beat every top guy in his division, yet he just won't fight them.
8 out of davis' last 15 fights have been against smaller guys moving up or catchweight/rehydration contracts.
So what's your excuse about him knocking a Jr. Welterweight out that now campaigns as a full welterweight, if you going to put his business out there put it all out! MF'er

I think we are going to see more articles like this before the fight. They are just trying to sell the fight and generate some interest pretending it will be close.
