Holmes looked as good as I've ever seen him. He has that Hopkins vibe to him. Great defense while also getting off his offence. -
This fight was one of the extremely rare times that I actually turned off boxing and did something else. It never reached the level of even a mildly spirited sparring session.
The so called fight before it was even worse. Hicks vs Austion was brutally bad. Austion should audition for acting roles in marine documentaries as an Octopus. The ref should have taken at least one point from him for holding . Someone should inform Hicks that you can punch with your free had when the octopus is holding the other one.
I didn't see anything last night from any of these four that makes me want to see them again or that leads me to believe that they have a chance of making any noise in boxing , except boos.
