Dude shut up. canelo is going down as an all time great whether you like it or not. Crying like a b*tch isn't gonna change that. And being the favorite in most of your fights isn't indicative of a cherry picker, it's indicative that you're probably the best fighter of your generation.

Canelo would be the favorite against David too. Is that a cherry pick?....are you also forgetting that canelo was the favorite against bivol you moron?....your logic makes zero sense. Every great fighter throughout history was the favorite in the majority of their fights doofus. It doesn't matter how much you cry like a ho, canelo is going down as an all time great. I would rather see Ginger facing Benavidez and feel that he is avoiding him, but isn't Berlanga a mandatory?? He already was stripped of the IBF title for not fighting their mandatory....

He shouldn't vacate the belts he plans on defending against mandatories...

History will not give a fig about Benavidez. From the perspective of history, Benavidez will not even be an asterisk. Everything about David is phony, from his claim to being Mexican, being a monster, and being a 168 lb boxer. He is an American who is a weight bully boxer with Ecuadoran, Dominican, and Mexican roots and who is a natural cruiserweight squeezing down to 168 for the weigh-in and rehydrating to cruiser a few hours later.

Funny that people claim Roy has no agenda. A guy who was criticised for missing several quality opponents at 168-175 because he knew he could get easy money fighting lesser opposition is defending a guy who is doing the exact same thing. Wow, no possible agenda there These 2 both failed drug tests and claimed contamination as well so if Roy defends him over that I'm sure there will be no agenda either.



Roy musta forgot Canelo having used rehydration clauses in the past. He used one vs Kovalev, so therefore according to Roy, Canelo is not a true champ at 175. He also used one for the Jacobs fight, and tried to use one to drain Badou Jack for their proposed fight.

Canelo also fought Callum Smith, Billy Joe Saunders, Caleb Plant, and others who were naturally bigger than him. Benavidez has arguably fought one guy who is his size and stunk up the place. Not that any of this is germane to my point.

I would agree that Ginger avoided Benavidez, but he moved up to 175 and relinquished his mandatory status. Had he not moved up, Ginger would have been forced to fight him and might have or would have dropped the WBC belt leaving Benavidez to fight for that title.

Dude, the only reason why he was always the favorite against his opponents for most of his career was because they were all handpicked.

He played it safe by hardly, rarely or ever taking any risks outside of the ring. Which reflects a sign of a very insecure and cowardly cherry-picking fighter.

I can see that the Canelo cult is out in full force. If one is a fan of Canelo then they are not true boxing fans.
How could they?

Their hero just simply refuses to challenge the very best opposition and competition available. By refusing to take risks and cherrypicking himself all the way to the bank.

All-time great fighters don’t fight limited and overmatched opponents. What’s worse is that this smug and arrogant prick has no sense of shame or honor at all.
