So sad Gonzalez lost. Her style seems more suited for the pros. She's had a tough path to get to the Olympics.

Sanford looked very sharp. I hope to see him in the pro ranks.

Orie got turned over by the judges with that decision. I thought he more than did enough.. guys still only 27 tho had a pretty decent amatuer career so I think he should get away from the amatuer system and turn pro because he has Athletism and boxing ability and be a decent addition to the heavyweight divsion

Rosie Eccles also got mugged, The judging as been abysmal & no wonder the sports future in the games is in question. Is it curruption or just plain incompetence?

Corruption in the Eccles fight, surely. Far too brazen to be incompetence.

Yeah the amateur system and bad scoring has just been a factor now for 30-40 odd years. As far back as RJJ being Jobbed in Seoul all them years ago which did turn out to be corruption with one of the judges. it seems like every Olympics we get bad scores but this Olympics has been really bad because your clearly seeing who wins these fight there not hard to score, then a fighter gets screwed over. I think it can be both tho and the AIBA has been a issue for so long now

I think it's both but mostly incompetence. These guys are grabbing and pushing after every exchange because if they box for real, they're getting destroyed. The referees need to step in immediately and enforce the rules. The Harvey fight was reminding me of Spence's bout in '12. Horrendous stuff.
