  • Comments Thread For: Chris Algieri: Boxing's divisional logjams are 'hurting the sport'

When Chris Algieri talks about boxing, he always makes a lot of sense. Boxing, and we the fans, is not served when champions don't take on the best challengers. Canelo is creating a NEGATIVE lagacy now, giving us all an F- U.

I think it's their sneaky way to plug the ProBox content.

Mayweather and Manny took many years as well. It’s not just Canelo.

They do sneak it in ProBox content and I don't always agree but one thing is for sure.....the guys at ProBox aren't kissing any fighter or promoters ass to get access for an interview.

The vast majority of boxing info on line is click bait, guys that couldn't make it with a cooking channel so now they're experts from their moms basement doing videos with the latest iPhone 29.

It's the way the world is going, so I'm not picking on BoxingScene/ProBox.
                    Everyone is upselling and co-promoting.
To be fair, I watched the most recent ProBox Wednesday night show and it's legit. The matchups were good, the fights competitive, skillful, and entertaining, and I like Algieri, Paulie, and Teddy Atlas. Paulie seems to catch grief here on this forum but I appreciate his commentary.
