They're gonna say, "Bud already destroyed Avanesyan".
They won't give Boots much credit. They'll say he only fought bums, the reality is, Bernard Hopkins, Georgie Benton, Meldrick Taylor, Harold Johnson, Tyrone Everett, Gypsy Joe Harris, Tommy Loughran, Midget Wolgast, "Joltin" Jeff Chandler, Joey Giardello... if you're talking about talent and skill, you can speak Boots' name with any of the past greats. I never saw Jack Blackburn boxing on film, but I believe Boots has enough talent and skill to fight and win in any era, past or present. Same goes for Bud

Another ATG based solely on the eye test.

A supremely talented kid no doubt, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

Fans have a tough time giving active guys credit. Its always been that way. For the entire career of Crawford, people said he was hype, he hasn't fought nobody, that he was dumb for not signing with PBC, that he was "exposed" when Gamboa touched him, that he had a weak chin, that he was a runner, he was boring, that Erroll was gonna kill him and break his ribs, etc. Now ppl are fawning all over him and saying how great he is, just because he beat Erroll up. But Crawford was always great, b4 most fans realized it. Fans are just weird and dumb as hell sometimes. They're the same way now, regarding Boots. They can't see what's pretty obvious. They can't see he's great, they just say he only fought bums. Ppl really don't know.sh...t about boxing

Crawford was lineal Lightweight Champion, Lineal and Undisputed Light Welterweight Champion, he had already proven himself. Ennis hasn’t.

He’s won a vacant/interim belt against a fringe top 10 guy, comparing him to B-Hop and those several other greats is lunacy. Let’s at least see him put together some quality wins.

It's Avanesyan's 2nd fight since his 2022 KO loss to Bud. His last opponent had a record of 11-55-3 so I wouldn't exactly expect the world from him tonight.
