How do you even make 15 million back from 5 of his fights??? I would MAX him out at 1 millie a fight . They would all have to be in Jersey.

Folks are conditioned to hate on Shakur Stevenson - some of this has to do with this being a copycat world, some of this has to do with this being a bully world, some of this has to do with his boxing style, and a bit of this has to do with his race.
Shakur Stevenson is an excellent fighter. As much as he's called a runner, and a boring fighter, no one has yet to be able to challenge him/ beat him. This is why I'm a fan. He seems to have the tools that the great ones have. I'm looking forward to seeing the day he truly gets challenged. My opinion may or may not change after that fight....
But I have a feeling that the day after he's truly challenged, I'll still be a fan, and he'll most likely have more fans.

The choice was either fight Artem and finish your contract so you can leave or re-sign with us and get some big fights. And Shakur knows this. He's quoted as saying so himself in this very article:

Cruz has been pro for one year (in 7 days) and has his 4th bout lined up (in 26 days), and will probably be in title contention next year. I would prefer if he was fighting every three months, but the pace that he's being moved is fine. Keyshawn turned pro in 2021 and currently ranks #3 WBC/WBO/IBF, so he's only a couple fights away from a title shot. We need to practice a bit more patience.
