Loma has 3 losses in 21 fights. Elite fighters hardly ever have 3 losses after their first 21 fights. They are usually undefeated or close to that.

You can't go off that, because nobody has fought the caliber of opposition that Lomachenko has in their first 21 fights. And it's probably not even remotely close. Lomachenko was fighting a two-division world champion in his second career fight. In his third career fight, he was fighting Gary Russell. Name a guy ever in history (from any weight class) who was fighting someone the caliber of Gary Russell in their third career fight. It's unheard of. In his 8th career fight, he was fighting one of the biggest pound-for-pound boogeymen in the sport (an undefeated Nicolas Walters) and making him quit on his stool.

He then went on and fought Guillermo Rigondeaux, Jorge Linares, Teofimo Lopez, and Devin Haney.

Comparing his record through 21 fights against other boxer's records through 21 fights is not the same. It's not even in the same galaxy. Tank Davis didn't fight a guy with a winning record until his 9th fight. And the guy he fought who had a winning record in that ninth career fight had lost 31 times.

Lomachenko's opponent's records through his first ten career fights? 291-27. Tank's opponent's records through ten fights was 61-64.

Comparing Lomachenko's first 21 fights versus any other boxer's first 21 fights is absurd.

I saw the fight as most people did. Competitive fight but clear loss for Lomachenko, who I was aggressively rooting for. As most fans acknowledge, Loma simply fought too cautiously for the first half of the fight (ostensibly for fear of Teo's power) and gave away the first half of the fight with little resistance. He surged in the second half of the fight, but came up short because Teo reasserted himself and won the final rounds. I don't care what people scored it or how they think it would have gone in a 15-rd bout, but Teofimo won that fight. The notion that Loma lost the early rounds due to a pre-existing injury but later surged when the injury was miraculously healed is a new kind of crazy.

He arguably won the 12th round. He lost rounds 7-11. Loma won round 2 or 3.

And dude what are you talking about? Loma kicked the **** out of Teo. That fight deserved and IMMEDIATE rematch. But Teo's a coward. I don't know what planet you guys live on where this kind of behavior is acceptable.
