The kid has had 10 fights! You don't throw him in with no beast like Dillian.He needs to be brought along slowly. He is 25 & had no amateur experience at all. I would go easy about the next step up before even thinking about (say) Nathan Gorman. After that, maybe, Abdoulaye or the loser of Wardley v Fraser. He is 3 years away from Whyte & you need to show some respect!

Fisher displayed fast hands and was quick to take advantage of Babic's spot-on impersonation of a heavy bag.

I want to give Fisher more credit but Babic stood there like he was some random dude who walked in off the street and somehow ended up in the ring all squared up and completely out of his element. It certainly looked brilliant for Fisher but I'm still thinking, "hmmmm".

And why do I want to duct tape Barry Jones's piehole so bad? I can't understand anything he says. He shows up on most of the DAZN shows. They can't find someone who speaks English? Darren Barker speaks well. Barry not so much.

Babic is a glorified club fighter. He built his resume knocking out Uber drivers and club bouncers. The fact I didn't know if he'd be too much for Fisher should tell you how much I think of the Romford Bull. Fisher is a ticket seller so he is good to have on an undercard and I expect Hearn to bring him along carefully and slow. Keep milking him for ticket sales while he develops slowly.

Maybe a matchup against Michael Webster or dust off David Allen. Then follow that up with Gorman and Adelaye.

IDK where Fisher even would want to take it. As I understand it, he isn't from a boxing background, he is a Rugger player who almost started it as a joke. He seems to be getting to the point where he should start taking it very seriously.

He is taking it very seriously. He's with one of the UK's top trainers and has devoted himself to living the life of a full time pro fighter.

The question is, did he take up boxing too late to acquire something that can't be taught - the instinctive ability to effectively use what you have been taught to come out on top when the **** hits the fan. I'm thinking Seth Mitchel here. Johnny could turn out to be a UK version of Seth.

I find Barry Jones extremely frustrating too. When i listen to him in interviews and discussions, I'm constantly have to pause and rewind the video, sometimes 3 or 4 times, to understand what he's saying.

Why do I bother doing that? Because when I can understand him, he talks a lot of sense. The guy really knows boxing. I wish he would take elocution lessons. Or maybe just make a conscious effort to slow down and stop stringing 10 words together as if they were all one long word. Babbling like that, plus his strong Welsh regional accent, makes it very difficult to follow what he's saying.
