Female boxers have got to start improving their power training. 10 rounds of pitty pat punching where no one ever gets hurt just isn’t entertaining. It would be like watching MLB with never an home runs or NFL with only 3 pt field goals.

It's a built-in limitation. Women typically do not have the muscle mass or bone density to generate the kind of concussive power we expect from mens' boxing.
That's the glass ceiling that will relegate womens' boxing to WNBA-style low demand and viewership.

I’m willing to accept that in comparison to men, which explains why we don’t see dunking in the wnba…but there have been more than enough female boxers who can end fights. Henin-Viet, Marshall, Wolfe, Martin, Ali, Rijker, etc etc. it’s all relative I think. I’ve watched female boxers train and there is a tendency to throw arm punches rather than pivot with the back leg and turn hips to produce power. For some reason boxing coaches are fine with this flaw and it really hurts the game
This might sound sexist but I don’t want to see them in Saudi. Generally speaking, their fights just aren’t entertaining enough or at a high enough quality IMO. No issue with any fighter making a few quid male or female, good luck to them, but that’s just my preference in terms of watchability.

You might be right. Now that I think outside the box a little (no pun intended) I have seen women UFC fighters deal knockout blows many times (and yeah I know they are not wearing boxing gloves, but a KO is a KO).
I think the talent pool for women is still much smaller than men, which means smaller sample size, which means fewer knockouts in raw numbers.
Also, there are very few women that I've seen who have the coordination, flow, and overall movement we expect to see from elite pro boxers. Katie Taylor is one that comes to mind.
How interesting that Hearn would lobby Turkie to have his mistress Skye to be the first instead of much more deserving fighters. She must blow him really good to get in front of the cue.
But for the Saudi’s having a side piece or two is no biggie. Eddie’s dad Barry is not into Skye Eddie’s side piece. Barry thinks Skye is a gold digging hoe
I think they female game might be in for a slump after Katie hangs up the gloves, she was the only fighter that truly had boxing skills and boxing fans paid to watch. Shields and Serrano would be the next two below Katie but Shields just isn't attractive in or out of the ring. I don't think Skye is even close to Serrano or shields as the boxer to take Katie Taylors crown as the best female boxer on the planet. The female game will survive post Katie providing matchroom don't lose interest and dazn don't zone out but it's Katie Taylor who has really established the female fight game on to the mainstream.
