Mielnicki has been following Zayas' foot steps for quite some time now. He's been fighting Zayas' earlier opponent's to see if he could one up his performance.
All that got him was being outpointed by Jerry Martin Jr., one of Zayas' more challenging win's. Now Mielnicki has signed up with Top Rank, Zayas' same promoter.
Looks like Vito who mirror's Xander in almost every tale of the tape, and record is sizing up Xander for a future show down.
If, and when that fight does happens it's going to be a damn good fight. I've got Xander winning that fight by knockout, due to his insurmountable will, and pride!

Does that mean that PBC's wheels are falling off because not long ago his father (on TBV) was pledging loyalty to Haymon until the wheels fell off?

Not a bad move for this young man, should get his exposure to American sports fans who have ESPN, and probably more dates as well. No doubt TopRank rolled out the red carpet for his potential as an earner who can tap specifically into the Polish American and Italian American demographics
