This honor is long overdue. Jackie should have been on the ballot at least a decade ago and voted in immediately. She is more deserving of induction than many who already have been honored. Congratulations to her and all she has done in boxing and all she has meant to our sport.

She must be a very smart and talented woman to have earned the trust and respect of a champ like Toney all those years in such a male-dominated line of work. I didn't know she cut her teeth working at Kronk, either. I wonder if Steward regretted not working with Toney after all?

I remember watching the film they made about her years ago with Meg Ryan playing her and it was a good watch and she definitely made some noise in boxing managing such a great fighter in James Toney in his prime aswell. Her and Kathy duva probably the only female managers/promoters who deserve the hall of fame spot and I know Kathy went in a few years back so this overdue for jackie
