I grew up with just two sanctioning bodies with the WBC and WBA and I would be fine with just those but add the others and it’s become a joke now……They should all merge together but they won’t …maybe Saudis should step and make one and call it’s the the king of kings belt

They did with their "undisputed" belt they give to Usyk, that should be the recognised belt going forward, the others simply don't matter.

They're just a way for up and comers to get recognition or avoided fighters to force their way into the picture via sanctioning bodies IMO.

One person can’t hold all the belts what’s the purpose of that ? There would be no reason for multiple sanctions to exist if that was the case and there would be only a single belt there would literally be no reason to just hand over the belts to one person and expect one fighter to fight all his mandatory’s in a single year and hold up boxing if one is say like Fury ?


There’s access no logical reasoning for wanting a single guy holding 4/5 belts for a long period of time , the sport gets more competitive matches when more title fights occur. We don’t need to see another undisputed fight where all the belts are on the line bc we already saw it and we got an undisputed belt in the mix now that Usyk has . But it’s the same old same old fans complain when they have more boxing content, instead of Hrgovic / DDD vs Joshua in a title fight we’ll just watch Usyk hold them all when he’s already the undisputed champion ? Lol

All these belts are fake and they shouldn't exist anyway. There should only be one champion per division, and Dubois and Hrgovic ain't it. Hrgovic's only good "win" was a robbery against Zhang and Dubois got knocked out by a jab last time he challenged for the title. Neither one of these bums deserves to be in a title fight.

Usyk is the heavyweight champion of the world until or unless he loses, retires, or fails a PED test.
