    Lifetime ban is excessive.
1-2 yr ban, NC, forfeiture of $$ is about right for this, especially based on what others that popped dirty have been subjected to.

But the fact is the beat down was so one sided that even a weight drained PED clean Garcia would have beaten Haney.
All we can do is hope that both are never the same after that fight and the boxing world is rid of these shytstains.

Ryan Garcia need to be punished. Boxing can’t allow this.

And I’m confident he will be.

While we are doing that how about we ban victor conte as well. Neither Devin or bill could sit there with a straight face and give us a believeable answer as to why having the wealth Devin has they couldn’t find any other “nutrionist” on the planet to work with him. You go sit in a crack house to smoke crack, you go to conte when you want to juice, same way you go the sink to get water when thirsty.

Haney is butt hurt that his son got beaten up. Obviously cheating in boxing shouldn't be allowed but drugs do not give fighters skills. Training and being in peak physical condition accomplices that. Devin Haney just got beaten up plain and simple. No way around it. Ryan Garcia is a jerk and a low life and should be fined and suspended for 18 months to 2 years.

The thing is banned for a reason, and sometimes the small amount means Garcia didn't cycled off properly.
This above. I certainly have an open mind and if there is some logical fallacy that explains why such a small amount would be prohibitive if someone was juicing I will listen. But, as some of our members here who know about steroids have said, when someone cycles there could be any amount in their system at any time. One cannot just assume because the amount was small that it doesn't make sense.

I have some other questions along the lines of how much the benefit outweighs the risk if someone decides to use. Certainly if Garcia can make a case for some contamination I'm willing to listen, but All indications are these substances were taken.

It's a shame because I think Ryan could have beaten Devin just the same had he took the fight more serious and gotten in shape by the usual methods.

I have no remorse for him.

Lots of unanswered questions still. Is Ryan closer to Canelo or is he more like Big Baby Miller or does he simply walk away and blame it on boar testicles, a farmer or some low level fan boy that takes responsibility and a $50,000 check?

He's going to get a minimal punishment. Life bans would be a deterrent, but there is too much money and corrupt **** in boxing to ever do that. These ****ers can worm their way out of the tightest holes.

Why would you be confident he will be?

That’s not usually how it works, the higher profile fighters usually get a slap on the wrist.

Ryan has every excuse ready to go like every other fighter that gets away with PED use.

So Miller has been back on the scene, what do you think the chances are that he's doping again? I think the chances are high. Why would he not? Has he learned his lesson? Of course- however the lesson is how to juice better than he used to.
