Foreign fighters must win by KO or TKO, otherwise it’s an automatic win for the local fighters. For women fighters it’s even worse.

Recently Mikaela Mayer got jobbed against Natasha Jonas. But there is a pattern of obvious corruption there and that he BBoBC hasn’t done a dam thing about it. American fighters should boycott ever fighting there. Kudos to Bob Arum for finally speaking the truth about the UK scam.
    Pot kettle much!

Like Muuurica! Isn't one of the most corrupt places on earth in boxing or otherwise xD

Most scored the first half 5-1 6-0 & Taylor managed no Usyk turnaround, just made the 2nd half more competitive.

    Boxing is corrupt, period.
    But not on this occasion.

Scotland is in the UK you moron. What are you talking about? The last fight took place in Scotland where Catterall dominated and got jibbed by Bob's setup just like he has at home.

Catterall clearly won. Anyone thinking otherwise should refrain from scoring because you simply can't do it.
I do t need a geography lesson from your drumb arse bro. The Scotland and Northern Ireland rivalry has been around for ages you F-in moron. While Ireland is also part of the UK a-whole and they get along so well with Britain you fool. The fight had its moments for both fighters. 9-3 is F-in crazy. Get your eyes checked you F-in moron and while you’re at it, take a class on reading comprehension.

Bob should start a boycott of foreign fighters going across the pond to constantly get ripped off. No argument if Jack was given a close decision, but not 9-3 dumb arse.

I had Catterall by 2 rounds then watched again and scored a draw. Very close fight Catterall getting given rounds for more eye-catching work but Taylor forcing the fight, coming forward and engaging he would have won those rounds in Vegas.

Catterall doesn't beat any of the elite, Josh Taylor 3/4 years ago with more head movement and angles also beats him handily. But a 3rd fight is a must and it needs to be next. Massive purses for both at say Edinburgh Castle, bring in neutral judges. If Catterall takes another fight before the Trilogy Taylor declines too much. If its next I think Taylor will take it. Catterall is a much better Boxer than Taylor or most of us thought with a very awkward style. The top of the Division is too strong for him though so make some paper with a Trilogy next.

I do think Jack won but I also feel this was a blatant case of the previous fight being scored so badly that they had already decided that this time, Catterall would win.

I remember a similar tihng happened with Pacquiao - he won a decision many thought he shouldn't have and then next fight when people thought he won - they made him lose that one on decision. Just so obviously done on purpose

Interesting too that Taylor landed 102 power punches to Catterall's 88. Taylor is hardly finished like some fools on this forum were claiming...

I can see why some think it was closer than the cards or even a draw, as there were at least 2 rounds where I thought Catterall clearly won on clean punches landed, but I could easily see others giving to Taylor because Catterall was particularly negative in those low scoring rounds. But aggression doesn't win rounds. Effective aggression can do, in close rounds where you cannot split them for clean effective punches, but for the most part Taylor's aggression was woefully ineffective, Catterall's defense was far superior in terms of weighing a round.
Also, if you don't even score rounds and just give an overall subjective opinion based on who kinda overall won the fight, then i could see calls of a draw. Only problem is that's not how fights are scored.

I have to agree with Arum, the card stunk. It was a lot closer than the cards suggested. I think a trilogy must happen.

    I had it 9-3.

I'm pretty sure those that had it close just didn't score the fight. It was toigh, but there was a clear winner for the rounds.

Jacks jab and left hand couldnt miss.

For a pro bout scored by 3 human judges at ringside, the fight really was perfectly scored.

The old l guy isn’t wrong about the score being wide but let’s be honest, the money is now US fighters staying in US and the rest in Saudi and UK, he’s just dirty he’s losing out on the big dollars
