I know that there are compettive fights that turn out one-sided if one guy shades each round closely, but it was several points closer than the first one.

Any American fighter going to UK to fight is crazy. The judging there is corrupt and a disgrace like Arum said. Taylor is from Scotland considered a rival of England. So the corruption happens when any fighter not from the UK fights there, and It’s about time somebody stood up to the scam that takes place there. Foreign fighters must win by KO or TKO, otherwise it’s an automatic win for the local fighters. For women fighters it’s even worse.

Recently Mikaela Mayer got jobbed against Natasha Jonas. But there is a pattern of obvious corruption there and that he BBoBC hasn’t done a dam thing about it. American fighters should boycott ever fighting there. Kudos to Bob Arum for finally speaking the truth about the UK scam.

Going to rewatch this...I thought it was much closer than most everyone else. I'm English and I guess I am mildly happy for Jack...I thought Josh looked very strong at the weight.Jack, I think will have problems with physical guy like Matias.

Actually count how many punches each lands in each round and you'll see Taylor miss all night. Jack's defence was as good as his offence. Taylor had very little success and just willed himself forward. But that isn't how you score a fight.

Gimme a break! Arum is just smart and calculated, as by doing that he effectively saved Taylor and his investment into Taylor by making people's last memory of the fight a claim of robbery so Taylor will still try and save face and his reputation as a top fighter.

As well as trying to convince anyone who will listen that if Catterall does fight one of Bob's guys, they'll use this to justify another one of their grotesque robberies.

Catterall won it clearly. It's absurd to think he didn't. People can't score for shlt. Either that or they're biased for what ever reason.

The hall of fame promoter is getting old. His eyes are no longer there. Just Taylor clearly lost the fight. It was kinda embarrassing in my opinion. He needs to stop getting in the ring after h these fights.
