    Eddie Hearn has confirmed that Joe Cordina will move up to lightweight after losing his IBF junior lightweight title to Anthony Cacace on Saturday (May 18) night.

    It never fails to surprise me when these second rate champions get a hiding and think they can move up in weight and be a serious contender. Fair play to the man for being brave enough to get in the ring to start with and achieving what he has...but he was never the best super feather...and going to 135 to fight the likes of tank or loma is ridiculous.

      He got a hiding because he never fully recovered from taking a flush shot when the referee told them to break and wasn't given any time to recover.

          Cordina is no good, there is a reason he's 32/33 and never tried to unify in an arguably much weaker division than 35...

          Don't know what him or his team are expecting to achieve by moving up but it isn't going to work.
