Ryan Garcia has taken to social media to protest his innocence after news broke that he'd twice tested positive for banned substances on April 19 and 20, the day before and the day of his fight with Devin Haney in Brooklyn, New York. Garcia tested positive for two substances, ostarine and 19-norandrosterone, with the latter set to be analysed further by Carbon Isotope Ratio testing. It was detected in his urine sample following the April 19 test, which was conducted by the Las Vegas-based Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency (VADA). Garcia (25-1, 20 KOs) claimed a shock majority decision victory of rival Haney, dropping the current WBC super-lightweight champion three times during the contest to claim the most prominent win of his career to date. On April 19, he also failed to make the contracted 140lbs weight limit, coming in at 143 1/4lbs.

Garcia had been partying so much, someone could have slipped something into anything he consumed...or he may have knowingly cheated.

If he knowingly cheated, he should get a hefty suspension. He came in overweight as it is. It would be unfair to Haney. Garcia put such a beating on Haney, Haney most likely will never be the same.

It would be unfair to let the guy who hasn't been physically damaged off scott free.

yeah but those option is not believable! ryan came out and said he was just trolling thru out the fight and that he took the fight serious.. just accept that he cheated! i mean, ryan himself said he came in over the weight limit on purpose so that he could have an advantage!! so after hearing that, why would you not believe that he ped up for the fight? this backfired on ryan for openly saying he came in over the weight limit on purpose to give him an advantage!!

Lol...why did he intentionally missed weight even though he signed a legal binding?? Anybody with a pinch of brain no matter how little will know Garcia cheated by intentionally taking Peds ...this is someone who publicly made it know that he missed weight to be stronger .. campaign for drugs instead of promoting his fight ... Even without Vada Garcia is 9 out 10 a cheat suspect with his antics before and after the fight ..no doubt.....he's been drinking his while adult life nobody is slipping anything into his drink
