Its an act to what end? I for sure think some of this stuff is an act, but idk wtf good it's doing here. If Ryan catches Devin early, hurts him & puts him away a round or two later idk that him pretending to drink a beer at the weigh in, talking about ****d children for weeks or hanging out with Onlyfan girls had anything to do with it.

The only upside I see is ticket/ppv upside cuz ppl love a train wreck, but it feels like maybe Ryan went a lil too hard in the crazy guy paint & ppl got turned off or just assumed Ryan was being so weird they assumed the fight would get canceled or fall apart so never brought tickets. Its early to say some of this, but the fact the ticket sales have been slow to sell & I've not heard of anyone involved hyped about the social media metrics that are usually an indicator of a well selling ppv.

Idk that Ryan makes a bet to pay 500k for every lb over the day before if the plan was to come in 3lbs over. That'd be too meta game for Ryan to willingly give away 1.5m to appear as if coming in over wasn't the plan.

If it is, it is just payback to Dela hoya and Hopkins for the way they abandoned him after the Tank Davis fight.

Understandable, he wants to be somewhere else, but he will not win any 'Academy Awards' for his acting.

ryans voice even changed, hes been drunk/high most of the time and I KNEW he wouldnt make weight and 3 pounds is no small amount, he looked soft a week out, he hasnt been training right.


Its not an act, its self sabatage, he KNOWS he cant beat haney so its a built in excuse after he looses watch it will be " I wasnt 100%, I had mental health struggles, Haney didnt beat the real Ryan Garcia... blah blah blah" so he can always claim Haney didnt beat his best self and he really would have won if he tried harder. lmao

There is always going to be this kind of talk when someone is acting the way hes acting, he either couldnt or didnt bother trying to make weight, that in itself is wrong in the sport, some will believe what hes saying most wont, haney is a solid operator who should be able to expose ryan if all the issues are really there, it should be a walk in the park really for him by the end of the fight
