    Golden Boy Promotions announced today the signing of Joel Iriarte, a 17-time national champion and former Team USA member. Iriarte, who is of Mexican descent and grew up in Bakersfield, California, will make his professional debut on the Zepeda vs. Hughes undercard.

            Interesting that he is debuting with a 6 round fight instead of 4. Maybe he will he escalate the level competition quicker than most?

            He was sparring Conor Benn for his fight with Peter Dobson.

                    Thanks for the correction, I thought I read it was a 8th rounder on Twitter (X).

                    Looking forward to this guy's debut.

                    Thought he compete at 140, but he seems too physically big even at 147.
