The time is finally here. Erik Morales and Manny Pacquiao get ready to stage a war in Las Vegas. Morales and Pacquaio put their careers on the line in what will be the most important fight in the careers of both fighters.
Erik Morales has more to lose then anyone else in this fight. Morales is coming off a huge loss to Mexican rival Marco Antonio Barrera. Due mostly to his loss to Barrera, Morales lost his stature as the best fighter from Mexico.
Morales has gone on the record and said that there is no other way for him to win this fight other then knocking out Manny Pacquiao. A decision is not enough for Morales and he is ready to chin check Paquiao in the early rounds.
Pacquiao does not think Morales can fight at a high pace and plans to begin his assault from the start of round number one. Pacquiao feels that if he attacks Morales early, he will break him down and put him away in the late rounds.
Marco Antonio Barrera and Juan Manuel Marquez will both be watching this fight with financial interest in mind. Marquez priced himself out of a potential rematch with Pacquiao and Morales stepped in to take his place. Barrera has revenge in mind and wants to face Paquiao again down the road.
