IMO his comments about JC Chavez could possible win over some Mexican fans combined with his showing in a lot of his fights...

Anyone notice that Abraham uses his forearms as much as his fists to hit his opponents with? When Abraham throws a punch, many times it's a forearm smash as much as it is a fist. Surprised the ref's allow him to get away with it so much.

IMO he's evolved to a more clean style in recent years...but yeah, he's doing with his elbow what Hopkins does with his head - pretty smart...

Though, are Mexicans supporting Abraham b/c of his guts and following JC Chavez' role modelship?
