New gen fighters are goofy and find any excuse not to fight the other top fighters in their division. Crawford and Porter were homies but still got down to business the only thing that is valid is actual blood family.

Unless it's you're acutal family then this shouldn't be a barrier to stop fights being made. Evander Holyfield was great friends with Henry Tillman since being in the amateurs together and was best man at his wedding and the same year holyfield fought him and knocked him out in a pro fight. Joe Frazier was great friends with Bob foster still went in there and knocked him out in 2 rounds and then went and had a drink together after the fight. If it makes sense these fights should happen
