Nice revisionist history by Taylor there lmao. They were set to fight the rematch. Twice. He kept getting “hurt” then took the lopez fight cause it was bigger lol

After a couple of horrible performances and losing the only leverage he had (world titles), this clown whose only decent wins are a gift against catteral, a decision which could have gone either way against Regis and a bumbashing of ramirez - still thinks he is some kind of superstar.

Anyone else past caring about this fight?

Taylor should go to 147 and Catterall should target an eliminator at 140.

Taylor must be haunted by Catterall's ghost. 2 years later still bringing him name without any real action. Once upon a time I really liked him but now all I can do is laugh at his cheap talking.

Exactly! Hearn, Taylor and catterall are all lying to each other; this isn't a big fight anymore. The fact that neither side are prepared to put up enough money to cover what the fighters want proves it. They all just need to move on and, maybe, somewhere down the line, it might be a big fight again.

I'll say what everyone is thinking. Josh doesn't want any part of Catterall.

Hearn has done a terrible job with Catterall so far. All the momentum he had is gone and he remains in no position to fight for titles.

Jack himself has to take some responsibility too, he did nothing after the Taylor “loss”, just sat back and hoped something would fall in his lap. At the very least, Hearn has got him active again.

Taylor’s career is also a mess atm, he can’t make 140 healthily anymore and there’s nothing really for him at 147. He’s also going to need to work his way up the rankings.

A fight against each other does nothing for them at this stage, it doesn’t generate big revenue, it’s not for any titles nor does it put them in position to fight for titles. As you said, time to move on.

Catterall has been horribly managed waiting for Taylor, the first fight was Pretty ****e action wise, demand ain't that big surely. Catterall hasn't been knocking the door down to demand that fight. Taylor would be better off going to 147 and picking up a vacant crawfish belt later in the year while Catterall should fight and fight to try to get a Haney/Teo/Garcia/Rolly fight.
